The photo depicts a woman and a man sitting in chairs in front of a house/ a farm building (?). There is a small boy between them. The woman is dressed in a long dark blouse with a collar and a long skirt; she has a string of beads around her neck. The man is dressed in a suit, a white shirt with a band collar and has a hat on his head. The boy is wearing a shirt and knee-long trousers. A man in a suit is standing behind the sitting people. On the right side of the photo there is a wooden door. The photo is of a very poor quality. According to the photo's owner, it depicts her great grandparents - Franciszka and Franciszek (...) The young boy in the middle is her grandfather (on her mother's side) - Ignacy (...). The photo was taken by an unknown photographer in the place of their residence - the village of Bożydar, Poznań voivodeship. The man standing at the back has not been identified ; 1912, Bożydar, poznańskie voivodeship ; The photo sent to the contest named “Photography of the Polish village pre-1948” organized in 1983 by the quarterly “Fotografia” (Photography) and the weekly “Nowa Wieś” (New village). Copy of the photo kept at the Institute of Archaeology and Ethnology of the Polish Academy of Sciences (former Institute for the History of Material Culture)
